Acai Berry (Extract): From the fruit of the Acai Palm (Euterpe oleracea) indiginous to the Amazon River Basin. Research has shown that acai berries contain massive amount of antioxidants that help fight free radical damage throughout the body. It is generally thought that dieting and exercising increases oxidative stress in the body, so it only make sense to take a potent, free radical scavenger during this time.

Chromium: Has been shown to effectively help regulate blood sugar levels which may help with (although maybe not cause) weight loss
L-theanine: While this ingredient doesn’t directly affect weight loss it’s been shown to reduce our stress levels
EGCG from Green Tea Extract: A potent antioxidant component in green tea, EGCG also helps fight free radical damage and is thought to support cardiovascular health. EGCG has been shown to increase energy expenditure (a measure of metabolism), and to increase fat oxidation.
If you walk into a Health Supplement Store or a GNC you’ll find the racks filled with products, most of which you won’t even be able to pronounce. Many of these supplements are indeed effective however a number of them have many different side effects you need to look out for! This is my personal review of Acai Berry Select, a different kind of supplement with numerous benefits.
